"So, no thanks, I have a vape for patients if needed, but I prefer the old fashioned doobie. Hacking up the harmful pollutants and emissions assures me its working. I was skeptical about vapor and moisture, and pneumonia. Does the vapor condense? So if lung irritation is a problem? Maybe. More paraphernalia, electricity. If it is to appease the liars, its ignorant."

My personal experience (purely ancedotal) differs from this. I have been smoking herb for 35 years, up untill about 6 years ago I had little interest in vaporizers - the early ones were crap and the heat guns dangerous. I smoked about an oz and a half a week, and I would often get a nasty thick hack, especially in the winter. In 2003 I bought a volcano, it cut my weed intake in half (huge savings!) and even though I still smoke joints when I am not at home or there is no volcano available, so I smoke way less over all than I did before, and I have never had that hack since getting a volcano.

My view is that the carbon produced by smoke is not good for lungs. Ganja, itself however, is good for you and a secret to a longer, healthier life that is documented by ancient wisdom and modern science: http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/node/20290
