According to the CDC< the "hard core drug users" are a statistically insignificant portion of our population.

Less than 1% hardcore users and less than 2% casual users.

Wouldn't it behoove us to treat those persons with medical grade substances under medical supervision.

Or do you prefer other humans suffering, tortured, and unable to find surcease in life? I'd prefer a controlled situation under which ANYONE of those crazy meaningless statistics can get their drug of choice WITHOUT having to beg, borrow or steal to get it.

Of course, you prefer the status quo. To me, that makes your actions a lot more doubtful, and your plans more dangerous and injurious,to peaceful society than the Harm Reduction practiced by DML.
