Heres a tid bit that was missed,

On day three, Davids speach to sentence, David thanked the judge for allowing him the time to properly make his case noting that people usualy would have only been allowed a day. The judge said that he knew he was being "extravegent with the public purse" but was glad that he had done so as he found it all to be " very interesting".
The judge went on to whole heartedly thank David and the people in the gallery (every seat was filled ) for being so respectfull over the three days. He then pointed out that people don't usually get a day for such proceedings, its usually more like an hour and maybe "a couple of times it has been a half day". (and then he still put off his decision to Oct. 28 !)

If the judge has any integrity and if he paid attention at all ( and it seemed that he did )
Then there should be no punishment handed out, but rather a pat on the back, David truly is a great cannadian freedom fighter.
