Your using this to prove what? That republicans are compassionate? Im not surprised at all that "repukes" started these programs.. Its ashame the democrats have hijackd these programs and used them to make our citizens dependent on gov't for mere political gain...

Well since you brought it up, why don't you explain the discrepancies between the party platform as I've reprinted it, and the present form of that party? Yea right, Ill get right on that professor.. And explain if from the POV of the Republican party. Shouldnt you ask a republican to do that?
