Well the beauty of the piece of paper is it removes it's "Illegal" status, as a DG is allowed by the Federal Government to Mail the patients cannabis, it's not like a MOM company who flat out isn't allowed to ship and/or sell cannabis in the first place.

I have also been informed that you can insure your parcel for I believe up to $5000, this says to ANY postal worker "KEEP THE FUCK OFF OR YOUR FIRED!"

Hell just give it a tracking number and you know you handled it last.

Well, if it had a tracking number and the package was misplaced, regardless of what was inside it, you can file a report, have them look into it. Did you get a file no. from Canada Post re: the report of the undelivered item?

Tep. I'm pretty sure that Canada Post puts a minimal insurance of $100 on any package and you can pay for more.

For larger insurance they want to see receipts etc to validate any claims that may occur.

Not sure how they would handle a pot delivery tho. Most large centers probably know how to deal with it but they would prolly call in the RCMP to figure things out in our little berg. lol

My son has his MMAR for 3 gms/day and I'm thinking about becoming his long-distance DG. I think 9 plants would be the limit and I could live with that. He is planning to get his limit upped. I told him to tell his doc that it bothers him to smoke it and he'd rather use medibles.

We shall see. Any thoughts or insights?

peace

I strictly use Purolator for my shipments, I have made 7 or 8 shipments now and by now the driver just smiles when he picks up my packages. It has a tracking # and is insured for $2500. I have had no issues to date(cross my fingers) but I do feel safer with a private company than our own government.

Have you seen who works there!

I'd agree with Sir.G on this one, Canada Post is not the best method of shipment, private sector companies such as Purolator tend to respect their customers privacy a little more.

As for what you said Lab, I would agree that that would be the best option to have an increased dosage.

Isn't Canada Post and purolator one and the same?

This is true. When my Medical Cannabis club was shut down because of Canada Post Health Canada did an audit ( this was May and they are still auditing,or so they say).
I told my pharmacist because she wants to be able to refer customers to places and asked for my help.
She was shocked that Canada Post would object. She said her husband is a Brinks Guard and he has ordered High-powered semi-automatic hand guns and have had Canada Post deliver them and never had a problem.
She thought it was insane that they would worry about medical Cannabis

it took the dg and the director 4 weeks to locate the tracking number and then they never did initiate a search claim for it and to this day I out of pocket for it as it wasn't replaced either. of course when they steal the whole crop from a disabled vet and health canada does nothing about them then they certainly won't respond to canada post stealing our legally shipped meds.
