Purplehaze, nice job with the post with all the links and everything, but you still haven't explained your statement that I contested, and still do, about giving plants microwaved water.
You went on to all this other stuff, talking about putting CDs in a microwave, etc, but we all already know you're not supposed to put CDs in a microwave! Lol.
To reiterate, I am saying that a microwave does not alter water in any way, so if you were to give it to a plant, or drink it, or whatever, after you microwaved it, there wouldn't be any difference wether you microwaved it beforehand or not.
Also, I don't think microwaves "ionize" or form plasma in your food unless you are doing something really ridiculous, like continuing to microwave your food while it is on fire. We can get as in depth as you guys want here, I know 1952hd can and probably will, he does that all day. haha. But basically I don't think a microwave typically"ionizes" food, or causes damage on that level. I suppose you could say electricity changes the structure of, or "ionizes" metal, since it's moving electrons along, but once once that electricity is off, it hasn't done anything to the metal. A microwave is able to agitate polar molecules and induce electricity into certain conductive materials due to them functioning as an antenna, well, then you're going to have to get into the possible effects of electricuting your food, if you're going to go there. That's all it's really doing if the food conducts but still doesn't form a plasma.
Btw, don't think I'm trying to pretend I know everything about this stuff either. I know I sure don't. I still don't even get how the hell you can cover up parts of meat with aluminum foil in my microwave and not have problems, but it says right in the manual you can do that. I haven't tried it because I never needed to, and I'm afraid to do shit like that in general, after this thing that happened to me once with an old microwave I had. I don't want to fuck up my nice microwave. This old microwave I had, I was trying to thaw some snow in a glass, and an arc erupted between the snow at the top of the glass and the top of the inside of the microwave. It still worked after that, but I never used it again due to the horrible burned smell, no way was I going to be defrosting steak, etc, in a microwave that reeked worse than toasted asshole, fuck that.

Are you a total health freak involved in the whole fitness regime? I'm not really, but I can do the thing he does on the bench in this video in perfect form for multiple reps, with my boots on too, and with my shoulders down at the end of the bench so there's no way to cheat. I laughed when I first saw this video, and then I was pissed when I couldn't do it. Took about a month to be able to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX2sYMf0nuQ I think most people who are self described "health nuts" are the guys (and girls) I see in the gym dressed the part, counting reps, walking around with a checklist of shit to do, rather than learning to be in tune with their bodies, acknowledging their weaknesses, and giving it everything they have with the heavy weights. My skinny ass, I have to give it everything I have, or I just don't make gains. Sorry to get so off topic, I just posted this to show these worlds aren't necessarily totally separate, although I occassionally do wonder if I'm the only person in the gym who gets high. But I think hitting the gym hard as hell, smoking a little high grade cannabis, and then eating a good meal is winning, in my book..

Hey Harvey, Where I am, it's 0500 local and I have not slept in about 26 hours. I was just finishing up some correspondence, got on CC and found my way back to this thread. I see that it continues... To reiterate, I am saying that a microwave does not alter water in any way...
Also, I don't think microwaves "ionize" or form plasma in your food unless you are doing something really ridiculous, like continuing to microwave your food while it is on fire. We can get as in depth as you guys want here, I know 1952hd can and probably will, he does that all day. haha. But basically I don't think a microwave typically" ionizes" food, or causes damage on that level. I couldn't agree with you more, and we can take this further if anyone wishes... and Harvey, I do this all night also. Just for fun, here's a an easy explanation for Microwave Ovens, from the University of Colorado. Seems simple enough... Btw, don't think I'm trying to pretend I know everything about this stuff either. I know I sure don't... Me either but it's all on my bucket list... 52. PS. To Simo... What happened, someone getting punished for not bringing their cymbals to music class? Good grief.
