You've got a great view, LabRat. Always a beautiful thing seeing seeds pop.

Is that one-foot-tall lady in the first picture an auto? Seeing any flowers yet?

That bigger one is one of my hash plant clones.

The rest are still in the closet barely alive.

All the sprouts are autos. Just put 10 more in dirt and 10 to go.

Our weather sux big time. Supposed to rain for another week.

Cool Labby, looks good. Is this your first outdoor grow ?

I tossed a couple of males outdoors last week, and wow! There's been so much sunshine recently, they are growing like..well, you know!

I used to grow outdoors successfully when I lived down near the 49th parallel Doobie but the growing season is so short here north of 55 that plants just start budding up and the frost hits.

So I'm trying the autos this year and see what happens with them. Sprouts are big enough now to put out.

All were put in dirt around the middle of June. Same soil, lighting and food for all.

This is the whole gang.

These are the Purple Gem, (Mazar x LowRyder2). The ones on the left are from seeds that I bred from the original seeds gifted to me. On the right are the 2 survivors of 10 that were bred by my benefactors.

My 8 seeds all germinated, 6 survived and came up very squat compared to the 2 of 10 that made it from buddy's seeds. Different parents and all.

These are from a little pollen chucking experiment with LR1.

On the left are Afghani Kush x LR1 and on the right are my Northern Mist,(KaliMist/NL5) x LR1.

I forgot to water once and the KushX suffered the most with only 2 of 9 coming up tho another has popped up and I'll keep it inside as a pet.

I'm hopefully going to find a couple of good Northern Mist crosses to breed for more seeds and develop a nice auto strain from those as the NM is my favorite strain.

I'm including these hash plants 'cause the big one has been living outside for the last ten days or so. It is an example of how a plant can come back from the scrawny neglected clones on the left. The cuttings of which were put in the dirt on March 17!

That's it for now. Hope to have them outside in the next couple of days as there is a lot of hot sunny weather on the way. It's been very cloudy and wet for the most part this year and I'll get an earlier start next year for sure.

peace

Been hardening off the sprouts for planting outside this weekend.

4 PM three days ago, 2 PM yesterday and 11:30 Am today.

No sign of sunburn yet so should be good tomorrow or the next day.

Brutal hot weather for the next week forecast.
