Good point Inner, but I would add a few words, if you would do not mind:
while keeping the darkness period dark, do not panic if something happens which briefly 'lights up' your flowering plants at night. Don't forget, these plants have grown wild for thousands of years, under a full moon at that.

Just something to keep in mind.
