Another Indica from Marc’s VISC Mix. This was not
turned purple due to cold temperatures. It is the
genetics of the plant.

Hey, those are gorgeous!

I'll come on back here tomorrow to run some of them by Marc. Can't wait to see your new shots with your new camera.

I hope these are clear enough Jodie, nice pics mrorg, very nice

Those pics were taken with the HPS lights on, which taints the usability of a plant photo. Metal Halides and HPS bulbs have to be OFF and proper studio lighting applied. Ideally camera should be traditional looking to produce high quality slides with great lighting and sharp detail over the entire photo. This is very challenging. To print in a magazine we need brilliant clear detailed balanced pleasing photos done in ideal lighting (NO GROW ROOM LIGHTS USED IN THE PHOTO).

If all these image tagged pictures are loading things down too much here Jodie, just let me know, and I’ll delete them.

Here are some of my better shots. I’ll be getting a very high quality Fuji camera in the next month and I’ll be able to take some very high quality pictures, with proper photo lighting, of the latest strains I’m growing now. I know the genetics of almost all of these shots. So, if these aren’t high quality enough I’ll have some that will be in a few months. Let me know what you think Jodie.

Spectacular bud that should be photographed with studio lights. I'd like to see that. High res digital is OK, (slide quality is the optimum, slides make the only suitable bud covers, but then, we pay $500 CN for a cover quality photo used on the front.), except for cover shots.

The top image is your perfect photograph. As you know from our pm there are reasons why 15 of 16 couldn't be used in a magazine, but the Vancouver Island purple strain is simply gorgeous, the photo is fabulous in every way. Good work!
