An article in CC says so. Seems a bit high to me.

seems high to me too...perhaps the statistic means that 70% of potsmokers have also been tobacco smokers at some point in their lives...i smoked tobacco for about five years...i still have the occassional cigarette but i go for months without having a single coffin nail...tobacco is deadly

i really enjoy smoking a cigarette and reading...thats the thing i miss the most...i used to smoke while i was studying and it feels right to have a book in my lap and fire tamed in my fingers

i haven't read the article but if that statistic was true, it might explain why *some* research concludes that potsmokers suffer serious lung damage

I have been smoking both for maybe five years(its hard to remember). but I have been trying to stop smoking cigs for maybe four years with little luck. It seems the only time I dont want to smoke a cig is when I am toking.

buy a one hitter...everytime you want to smoke, take a hit of pot instead

i smoked ciggies for five years too...it wasn't easy to quit and i had cravings for YEARS afterwards but i think it would have been a lot harder to quit if i had kept smoking for a few more years...i don't think about tobacco anymore

don't wait too long to quit or it could be too late...if you quit now, your chances of getting a tobacco related disease will be greatly reduced...if you wait another 15 years and quit, you'll still be at significantly increased risk of early mortality due to tobacco...just think of all the money and time and health wasted to smoke something that doesn't even get you high!

good luck
