Thanks for the info Daego . I was thinking about getting a Steinel , they seem to be the best.So you think that the Valoon valve set is better , i'll have to keep this in mind. And i will definitely give Overgrow a look too. Thanks again.
PEACE

I've posted this link before, but I figured I would post it again since it is a good deal. Here is a heatgun made by steinel (made in germany) with a ceramic heating element and a variable temp setting. This is the one that I use and it works great http://www.web-tronics.com/vatehegunkit.html only $59...

Thanks for the link , it looks really great .Only problem is that cos i live in Australia , there is a $200 minimum for international orders .Which is a pain in the arse , cos i was just about to buy it.Thanks anyway.

This thread has been very informative. Thanks all. I’m seizing one of these soon.
I love hearing how high everyone is getting off these, because when I first looked into vaporizers it seemed no one was satisfied with them. I’m sure those were the old heating element types.

Question:

Everyone talks about the great high and the great taste, which is great to hear.
What I’m wondering is do you get that expando tickle feeling when taking hits off the vaporizers? You know that, “damn that hit, hit the spot” effect. Well, I’m soon gonna find out.

Thanks vape connoisseurs!

Thanks for the link. I tripped over my vaporizer and it broke so want to try another one.

The answer is Oh Yeah ,it happens to me alot with the Verdamper.I'm always coughing & spluttering cos of that expando tickle. The more you want to tickle , the more herb you put in.I'd say that it is probably the same with the Vrip, but i can't talk from personal experience.'Caligrower' i wish you the best of luck with your VRIP.And i'm really sure that you will love vaping too.

huge.. glad to see this threads still alive.. Both valloon have thier pros and cons.. the valloon breaks as its glass, the valloon tastes a tad better, the volcano valve setup should last forever.. def give OG a look around.. the glass forum is a popular place over there..
j_db.. great link.. as Ive never used that gun but adjustable temp (otherwise most guns are two weak or get too hot) and ceramic heater element are a must IMO..
Caligrower.. your gonna love VRIPPING! Covert any bong to a vape! Id love to get a VCB to fit my glass on glass 18mm custom roor tube.. I hear they are a bit backed up in orders as of late.. some people ordered valloons from mark back in dec. and he's just now getting around to shipping them out.. so be prepaired for a little wait if you ordered a valloon.. they are also getting that o-ring for the valloon to fit on the volcano base unit..
In regards to your question..
Inhaling a huge hit of vapor will not be like the headrush of inhaling a huge cloud of bong smoke but still gives you that.. mmmm feeling... but without the lack of oxygen from coughing for a minute and half Though the VRIP's have been known to fill up w/ some thick tastey vapor.. a def nice choice.. one of my top 3 vapes on the market.. along w/ the verdamper.. wish the volcano used water filtration to cool thier vapor!

Just went and bought a Makita HG1100 heatgun from the local Bunnings hardware shop for $100AU.It does work on my Verdamper , but only if i put one of those nozzles on the HG1100.But the Verdamper's heating element works better in that situation as it is silent and doesn't blow away the herb & is a precise temp. that you dont have to fiddle with. But the reason i bought the heat gun is that i want to try vapor out of a bag.I have ordered the Valloon & when it arrives i will give a report .I am also thinking of ordering the VWT1 with the upper & lower bowls & connections. And then doing a comparison between the Vrip & Verdamper.

I’m interested in the results. I’ve been harvesting so I haven’t had time to order. I will be very soon.
