IMO, Opies plant looks stressed. I wouldnt be surprised if that may be the culprit.

It will be interesting to watch Allgoods plants and see what turns up.

Yea, she did go through some tough times, admittedly, but alot of plants endure similar stresses and prevail. Yield is not even affected in some cases. Therer were some Haley's Comet females in the same chamber during the same crisis, and still pulled 2oz. per of quality smoke.

In no way would I ever compare an Early Cali x Skunk#1 to lineage that of a Landrace Puna variety, or their respective TLC needed from the grower, but I digress.

I have two healthy clones ready for bloom. They bounced back fairly nicely in a media leached prior to t'plant and I can't wait to see how they fair under my dedicated supervision for the next 9 weeks or so.

I'm starting to see a little narcosis on the lowest small leaves also. The rest of the plant looks great. It seems the slightest amount of rootbounding can set these babies off. So I transplanted everything into 2 qt grow bags yesterday. They look like they also have a little bit of transplant shock today. Could be the temps of my new cab also(running about 10 deg low). I'm fixing that as we speak. These babies can be a little fussy. I'll update with pic's on Wed.

Ok, the mother looks fantastic once again. Actually, this is the best it's ever looked...so, I am waiting eagerly for space in the chamber to open up.

Pics to follow.

Nice thread you guys!! How long you looking at for flowering time? It may have been mentioned, so forgive me please if I overlooked it!

Happy Growin'!

Growgrrrrrl-

I was en route to a 9 week, maybe 10 week finish before the bananas appeared.

I would expect it to go no longer than 11, though. Some of the Puna dominant geno's may require more time. I only had a single female blooming, so it's hard to say what the average flowering cycle will be for a grow like 'Allgood's...I think his grow will be a better gauge for that since he should have at least a handful of fems.

Hey Growgrrl . Nice to see ya around. Hope all has been well.

Here we are at week 5 from germ. Plants are ranging between 10"-12" tall. I lost several lower leaves to what looks like a slight over-fert . I know, I know better. My first impression of these being fert hungry where wrong. The plain FF soil by itself seems to be what they want. So, everything is recovered now and I will most likely veg them out an extra week to help the middle of the plants to fill out. What seems to be the key factor for the CB, is rootspace and lots of it. I plan on flowering these at 18"-20" tall. Another 7-10 days. That works out nice with what I need to harvest out of the flowering room too make some more room.
The new veg cab is rocking now. I had a few kinks to work out with getting my temps up. 78 deg F and cruising now. I'm still useing 24/0 lights for veg. I've seen no ill effect thus far, so I will stay on a 24 hr veg. I'm still open to some opinions on this matter(hint, hint ).

The CB's are on the left side of the cab. The Speckled Trout is on the right. I'll do a grow report in a seperate thread on the speckled trout when they are finished. So far they smell great, but the CB looks better structured and is more uniform. The love that 'The Dork' puts into his breeding is starting to show. Big hats off to ya Rolan. YOU ARE THE MAN!
