What do ya'lls think is the most foul, stinky, smelly strains out there? As in, smells like animal piss, road kill, pole cat musk, body odor, epoxy glue, diesel fuel, your mama's backside, whatever. And I ain't talkin bout the mold growin on yer wet buds!

NL#5 (like a mountain lion den)
Cat Piss (smells like Aunt Betty's 3-leg 'Coon Cat)
Skunk#1 (like a musk rat in heat)


Some strains don't stink one bit. As a matter of fact, they don't smell good neither. Maybe they're good fer growin in yer mama's closet or hidin in yer draws, but they ain't good fer stinkin up the ole dirt farm.

Silver Haze (smells like nothing at all)
Durban (like a bag dried leaves)

My trainwreck smells like an oily rag while flowering. Gets a little lemon tint to it after a few weeks of curing.

My couchlock smelled like diarhea when flowering and drying. It was the afghani phenotype. I couldn't always take pruning and harvesting and would have to stop.

Tasted slightly fruity when smoked, though.

Hrmm, for me, NL#5 actually smells quite nice. A little gamey perhaps, but nice.

This particular grow, however, I am using fox farm soil and nutrients, and I am growing using EA and EN.

They seem to smell alot nicer this grow. Perhaps what you feed the plant can make a difference?

I also grow a Kansas mystery strain that can get quite pungent, bud not in a bad way. It definitely smells organicy, but then again, I am the kind of guy that enjoys the ambience of the horse stables.

The Black x Burmese (VISC), very strong sweet odor that will attract attention. Definately my smelliest ever.

Nirvana's White Widow has a very unique odor. Not very strong, but when you're in the grow room theres a sharp floral bite that is rather perfumy and smells almost toxic. It doesn't resemble anything close to a growing marijuana plant.

My Skunk #1 males had the catpiss smell to them. My Romulan x UBC Chemo plants had a spicy musky hash smell with a rather harsh, undesirable taste. But I don't think I have yet grown a strain that tasted "bad".

C99 has real sweet perfumey smell that passes almost for a wildflower..

I would consider it a less stinky strain, but you still get an aroma..its just a bit different, and may not be too noticeable to some folks..

When I was moving my latest crop of plants into the flowering room the shaking caused a very strong smell to come out of them. It smelled exactly like a freshly opened package of Baloney. These were the Blueberry X Adam Afghani X Burmese Pure homemade seeds of mine. They only had a few pre-flowers on them and so far in the vegging room I never smelled them at all but this smell must have come from the leaves as I shook them. Anyway it's from the Burmese Pure as my seedlings of Burmese X Burmese also smell like baloney. It's a very fresh smell and strong and very different and pleasant. The Burmese and Burmese crosses have cured out to very strong very fruity herbal with a hint of musk but the overall smell has been pungent fruity and very strong. If you rub the stalk then you get the musky sweet skunk which has this revoltingness to it, but which ends up drawing you in.

Here's the Blueberry X Adam Afghani X Burmese Pure seedling that smells like baloney shortly after being topped showing the lovely purple colour from the BB X AA. This is my favorite indica crossed with my favorite sativa. It's a huge plant now about 2 ft high and 2 feet wide with many branches to form multiple colas as it goes into flower. The first Burmese cross of Kenny's Mix X Godbud X Burmese Pure that I am smoking now came out better than either parent although both parents were fantastic. It's lost the baloney taste and now is probably one of the nicest tasting things I've grown and tastes like the Burmese but magnified. It's extremely potent and I can only finish half a skinny joint before I have to put it down. The Burmese male certainly did make some beautiful seeds so far.

The worst I've had to deal with was Afghaan Dream [BCSC] That stuff stunk like 5yr old gym socks. Got buzzed just trimming it out. Cindy smells very nice kinda like a bouquet of spring flowers. .

I agree with Orchidman that the blueberry strains stink the most. The most potent strain I ever smelled was an outdoor blueberry x XXX cross. Vacuum sealing only kept the smell out for a day. Had to be sealed twice!

Rene is also some pretty stinky shit...

I would have to say that mighty mite x cambodian is the strongest smelling stuff I've seen.
.5 gram will stink a car up double wrapped.
