Marc Emery & Pot-TV producers.

My aggrevation has reached it's limits. I am a supporter of pot-tv.net and a customer of emery seeds. The only show I find of regular interest to me on pot-tv.net is the Grow Show. It's the only thing that keeps me regularly visiting this site.

Knowing that...let me vent my feelings which are shared by other customers of yours. I mean this to be constructive although I'm sure my aggrevation will show through.

I find the eratic programing schedule of the Grow Show to be completely unacceptable. When running an online "TV" site, you need to maintain a consistent programing schedule. The Grow Show is a great show which deserves this type of schedule. I'm not concerned about the dramatically different lengths of the shows (20 min - 60+ min). What I am concerned about is this...

1 - Archived Shows

What happened to the 1st 16 shows? Why are they not archived? This would be of great interest to those of us who didn't know about this site until a few months after it's launch.

2 - Production Schedule

I would recommend setting a firm published production schedule with the topics to be covered posted in advance on the site. This will enable you to schedule weeks off for Holiday, Cannabis Cup, etc. without disrupting your production schedule. The viewers will then know in advance if a week will be subject to a repeat.

3 - What do your PAYING customers want?

The Grow Show is by far your most popular show. Since this website is a combination of marketing tool and activist tool, use it to it's full advantage. Emery seeds customers are obviously particularly interested in the Grow Show. These are the people that help indirectly finance pot-tv. Please don't put our favorite program on the back burner.

4 - Reruns

Since the shows are archived (some of them at least), there is no need to have Reruns. However, if you do, please avoid using the same ones over and over.

5 - Keep your promises.

How long ago was it that Marijuana Man and Professor Ziggy said we would be able to follow a grow from week to week. This was supposed to start probably about two months ago but with the erratic programming schedule, I haven't even seen the 1st show in this new series of Grow Shows.

5 - Labeling the Show.

Please label every show in a consistent manner. #1, #2, etc. is fine.

6 - Be professional.

Marc, I don't know if the person who posted in this thread about Marijuana Man being too busy answering phones and e-mails to do the Grow Show is one of your employees or not. But that is completely unprofessional. It is well known that M.M. and Ziggy don't get paid for the Grow Show. But, Marijuana Man should be given at least a break from all the "busy work" at Emery Seeds to be able to put together and tape a show each week. I find that comment made in this thread unprofessional and unacceptable particularly when talking about your most popular show.

Maybe you can have guest hosts that can fill in periodically to reduce the amount of effort M.Man has to give to the show. But please correct this problem. It's gotten to the point where your PAYING customers are starting to feel aggrevated.

I also would like to see a more regular schedule, but the way mk2 came across was quite irritating. I'm fairly sure everyone at pot-tv are doing all they possibly can to give us the best stoner entertainment on the net, so just twist up a fatty, light it up and fuckin' relax and give the folks a break.

I think the man had a valid point he stated himself fairly well..except for the few IRRITATATING COMMENTS.
Pot-tv is not run by TV execs unfortunatly...and the people who run it
watch too little TV to know what a TV station should do! (IMHO)
When Lance (wbuz420.com) left, my opinions no longer carried any weight.
They yesed me when I called to recommend changes to the site, so I stopped calling.
I had recommened a fixed "schedule" when the site was incepted (and you know how methodic
Lance is to get a show scheduled in advance although he does "seasons" (4-5 shows at a time) and you get
reruns during his normal show time).
I am not sure how soon this problem will be fixed but I know that if I was a programming manager I would kill a
couple of the shows and replace them or help them to get better. It might pay to bring in an expert from a local tv station
for a week to examine the workings (schedule and shows) and rework it!

I am trying to be critical but not obnoxious because he did have a valid point that should be said in a less
threatening manner...I am not demanding satisfaction
or expecting them to listen to my advice because they would have called me for it they have my number.
