I have been having on going back problems for the last 2-3 months and went to the doctor today and he perscribed me Naproxen. I'm not big on popping pills and was wondering if any one could tell me if smoking bud while taking this crap will do me any harm. i tried a search and came up with nothing and i couldnt ask my doc with my little bro with me.
Any info in apreciated

hey, that stuff is the best thing since sliced bread IME. that is what aleve is and it is the ONLY thing that works for my pains (especially headaches) short of a prescription. and i smoke a lot and have experienced no side effects at all. so i would say take it, don't worry, and hey, that's getting off cheap considering...if it actually helps ya.

the doc prescribed it for my back pain and it didn't do shit...its only a juiced up version of ibuprophen/advil...its a relatively strong anti-inflammatory but its not going to make nerve pain or muscle spasms disappear

don't take it for too long and always take it with food...cannabis doesn't interact with it at all

I used to take it and now my insides dont like it when I do
10 yrs of taking it and vicodin did something to me

I have been taking naproxen sporadically for arthritis pain.. dont take a lot of it one tablet as needed

Thanks for the replys. Puts my mind at ease. I was perscribed 20 550mg pills so 10 days worth hopefully it works. I guess if it doesnt i can just smoke more weed

After my back injury, I was on the stuff for over six months - now I don't have much of a stomach lining and suffer from that as well as the back pain.

This stuff is NOT worth the pain it caused me - I'll stick with cannabis. It works well, and doesn't have the side effects.

Ya kills the stomach from witnessing the damage aswell,take a stomack coater like pantoloc 1hr before or just forget it all together.

I apreciate the info. I already have a weak stomach as it is so I am glad you guys pointed that out.
It seems to be working I still get some pain but im not slouched over all the time.
