I got bored with my hydro, and am growing a few plants in soil. I use Earth Juice then Tiger Bloom. I just need to know when to start flushing, last time I think I started too late. looking for some recommendations.
Thanks

How long do u plan to veg? I flushed for the recomended final 3 weeks and had good results. If the girls can take It I'd go for 4, the taste is delicious. Are you new to organic or switchin for a bit?

I usually flush for a Minimum of 2 weeks, but i try for 3 (sometimes i get impatient, i need to work on that) but i also use Clearex to flush my soil, i find that if you flush well with the recommended amount that in 2 weeks the plants realy seem to put off a much better smell then they would if i did not, also of course the taste is much better. Plain water works good too, just the clearex works a little quicker (again im impatient). so whatever you try do flush for at Least 2 weeks, but more if you can.

Organic nutes don't need to be flushed all that much, IMO. I get away with 2 heavy flushes at the end of my flowering cycle using a water/ molasses solution.

You should be tapering off the nitrogen around week 4 of flowering anyway, so there should'nt be alot of nitrates lingering in your soil by the end of week 8 in any case.

Never a more even burning, smooth, tasty smoke using this method.

This is a product made by Gardenville Organics. I use about a tablespoon per gal of water. The molasses (for lack of time to go into detail) washes away all those nasty nitrates that inhibit smooth smoke, even burning bowls, and crusty ash that hurts your throat.

It's tassssty.

I'm gonna hafta look that stuff up, hmmmmm Molasses, lol, the stuff that doesn't move when cold!

I use Tiger Bloom also, i flush anywhere from 1-2weeks, if a 8-9week strain, i usually start at about week 7 or so, depends on the plant, if she looks like she wants to bathe in clean water, dammit! she gets it!

Thanks guys, I just like to GrO organic every now and then, and I get used to the one week flush with hydro. Yea, the organics and black strap molasses, I remember that trick from dirt fert 101. They started flushing at 2.5 weeks with pure water. Thanks again
