Hey all first post on this new screen name!!! Recently i bought some very good commercial for 45 a half ounce. However when i roll this weed into a blunt or joint all it does is burn the surrounding paper and not the actual buds.However it does burn very nice in a bowl i swear i can get 20-25 hits out of a little less than a gram and my god do i get split. When i break up the buds they are sticky and frosted with crystals. Anyway i was wondering what u may have thought could be my problem. Im guessing they werent dried long enough and they still need some time because they did come off a brick. OR either there so sticky and covered in resin that it wont burn properly, just a couple of stoned guesses.

if you want to smoke it in a joint, try grinding some up and let it set out on a paper plate to see if it dries up enough to burn in a joint.

Try to bend a stem at the base of a bud. Does it crack, or just bend? If it just bends it is wet.

You need to dry and cure it some more to finish it. Place it in a folded paper bag for three to five days. Then remove and if it don't burn right then. Begin a cure by placing into a mason jar. Open the lid once a week and leave in the jar for a month or more. After a month you need not open weekly. But, just to smoke leave in folded paper bag for three or more days, checking everyday. Also, put the paper bag in a closet, cabinet or other dark area. Good luck, I hope this has helped.

i have a feeling the pot you bought was not flushed properly, and so is chock full of salts in the plant material..this in turn making it hard to smoke joints, having to re-light it constantly. but that doesnt make sense for your title of wet weed...

ok heres what i did. I did the paper bag method for about 3-4 days then i tried smoking it in a joint and it burned much better. Although the taste was completley differnent, prolly cuz i have had the buds chillin in my old skoal cans for curing. In the past i found that mint or berry blend skoal give your weed a suprisingly sweeter taste and slighty different aroma. Anyway i have another question, today i scraped my glass bowl and as usual i had alot of resin build up, so i tried to scrape the bowl with a knife and an alan wrench. Soon i found that this resin was fuckin crazy ass lookin when i held it in the light, either they were glass particles or fuckin huge crystals were shining bright. But this is the weird thing, i made my sticky ass resin into a doughball and placed a roach in the bottom of the bowl and then put the doughball on top. After i hit it a few times the resin was crakin and sizzling and when i thought the bowl might be cashed i blew the burnt resin nug into my hand and then found it was as hard as a rock. Finally with the help of a knife i broke it apart and found the nug to kinda resmble an almost plastic form "WTF". I dont know if the reason i had such sticky resin was becouase of the damp weed i recently have been smokin. Either that or it is some kinda chemical build up from me smokin weed that was not flushed right or it was either laced. All i know is that I got fuckin split of my ass. So whats anybodies take on this weird resin.

Here's the thing the resin you smoked is mostly tar. The big crystals probley were salts built up from smoke'in unflushed bud! The tar was hard because, as it burns and bubbles down it solidifies when cooled! Becoming harder than when first smoked! Tar will rip your ass in an emergency (no bud) but, I recommend not smoking it. Because, it is very carcinogenic! Even more so than smoking cigarettes! I just clean my pipes and bongs and dump the tar. You will live longer!

Yeah I've got to agree with MG on the whole resin smoking thing. That's some evil shit. I've smoked my share in highschool but now that I know the facts I've realized that the stone ain't worth the cancer. There are so many ways to get cancer now a days we don't need to give it more of a chance to manifest than we already do.

i usually get a big ball of resin and flatten it out.. then put a couple drops of some sweet honey oil.. then ball it up again... get get about double the amount of crushed up weed and pix it all together.. gets me really really ripped
