Vancouver is a wicked city.

I was there visiting the UBC campus with my buddy and apparently they have massive cannabis protests on Canada day. We were heading down to stanley park and walked by the art gallery... the most amazing experience ever.

Anyone?

traveling to Vancouver, Whistler and some of the islands. It seems most of the info on the net is way outdated, by several years. Just trying to find any info on cafe's to smoke or ways that might be easier than others to score while there.

Also places to or not to smoke, I would like to keep johnny law off my case. Thanks for any info

Cannabis Day is a celebration of Cannabian Culture rather than a protest,
kind of like the Pride Parade but for stoners of all sorts.
Protests are spur of the moment or more organized rallies to create change for causes that come up as society changes the way it sees Cannabis.

When I started protesting in 1971 they were all protests and no celebrations,
now we have legal access to medical MJ and more awareness of its medicinal properties than ever before. Even people who dont use it themselves are coming out with stories about how it helped family or friends cope with serious illness and they saw for themselves what a powerful medicine it really is.
