If you want a great place to stay, check out The Best Western/Uptown. The place is new (5years old) The rooms are clean,clean,clean. Get a non-smoking room on the 4th. floor and you won't be disappointed. They have a garden patio that is secure and is open 24/7. They provide a very nice (complimentary) continental breakfast. There is free parking for guests as well. (Gated) I believe we paid $99.00 per night for a double twin. It is at Kingsway and Main, which is a very convenient location IMO. Anonymous Unregistered	ok so this patricia inn is in a crappy part of town. toothless crack whores are not my favorite thing. i can see all the poverty and prostitution and bums that i want, simply by driving down colfax or thru 4 points here in denver. actually a white guy like me would be lucky to go thru 4 points without getting shot. so east hastings is out of the question i take it thats the nasty part of vancouver. I will check out the best western, thanks for the advice.

If anyone at main and hastings had a gun they would trade it to their drug dealer, as soon as they possibly could, for drugs. Its not even ghetto like a US ghetto, more like a skid row. Its safe, and if you can save any money, dont worry about it. I am sure the hotel wont let they junkies in.
