lol... truer words were never spoken... we used to pick shrooms off the lawns around the gardens.. but the best place was the boulevard heading out to ubc along 10th.. as soon as you pass the gates, it was shroom city. well, until they sprayed them with some sorta shroom killing shit. oh well..

Can anyone tell me if there is city ordinance against skateboarding? I need to know Asap as i am leaving today(tuesday). Or if there is a skatepark, maybe someone knows some spots?

you can skateboard around vancouver but you won't be welcome in front of some office buildings or cruising down the center lane of the roads

here's a list of canuck skateboard parks with a few vancouver listings...i've skated the griffin park in north vancouver...its ok and there's not many people there

Funny where i'm from there are skate route signs and you have to ride down the center of the road. I heard there is a really kick ass park called like rds. I want to check that out.

Nah, actually i didnt get to go. My rides car got towed the night b4 we were going to leave and had to spend half their paycheck ust to get it out. But i was told that we will leave two weeks from that last posted day. I was really anticipating leaving that day as my mom has to have eye surgury soon and could be blind forever.EEK! So quote me on it. I WILL DO SOME OUTRAGEOUS ACT. I will go soon. Just hope i don't get kicked out of Canadia. I really want to immigrate there.

You guys are making me homesick!!! I just moved out of Van into the interior. Ahhh, the memories at Lynn Canyon, Downtown, Lighthouse Park...

I miss my home. Hopefully I'll return oneday soon!

Regarding skating in Vancouver:
They just opened a brand new $250,000 skate park somewhere downtown. Not too sure where, I'd post a link but gtg to work..

you won't feel bad about leaving vancouver when you come back here and get stuck in traffic and have to pay $5 for a cup of coffee and eat north america's shittiest pizza and everything costs $$$ and people are so unfriendly and it takes forever to do anything because everyone is hepped up on coffee but nobody gets anything done and its going to get worse as we approach the olympics
