listening to floyd stoned is great, but once when i was listening to ummma gummma (and tripping balls) i stopped existing and merged with time. it was one of the most unbelievable things ever. pretty sweet.

everything syd barrett has done musically pales all that pinkfloyd (post syd) has ever done... syd barrett, in my opinion, is one of the few musical geniuses that has been so (un)fortunate to have become relativvely well-known in the music community... others in my opinion: eric satie, mahler, the beatles...

Having been without a turntable for sometime, I recently bought the Dark Side CD and re-introduced myself to Pink Floyd. I love it.
