It goes without saying that we all would love to see them come back, I only wish I was around when the band was in its infancy, I would've much liked to watch them progress as the time went by,nowadays there are no real good bands that you know would get better like so many 60-70's bands, the one really original and great band to me that really had a shot of inheriting stoners of all generations has broken up(Phish of course),but it seems to be a time of deplorable music where mediocrity seems to stick out amongst a backdrop of drop D guitars and lyrics that are so imbecilic they incite nothing more in the mind except the thought that one could make better music by defecating on a guitar and recording it,i'm out, peace

to truly experience floyd; it must be loud, but not distorted.
For a truly "sonic experience"; get a good set of headphones...
naturally, weed &/or shrooms are mandatory.

My most memorable Pink Floyd memory was a couple years ago when Roger Waters toured and played at Deer Creek in Noblesville, IN and my best friend and I split 3 joints of stuff that I don't remember what it was but must of been good. We were driving back to the Purdue campus where we were going to school, when he fell asleep at the wheel and we ended up spinning for what seemed like forever. The car was a 90 Ford Mustang convertible and I don't know how that bitch didn't flip and thank god no semi's or other cars were in our path or we would have been in deep shit. We were lucky SOBs. It sucks that I probably will never get to chill with him again since he lives in Cleveland.

peace

never say never...
Indiana is not that far from Ohigho...
you can hitch-hike there!!!
Freinds are rare man, NEVER sacrafice one, for any reason...
write them, say 'hello' and that you're thinking about them...
you're special to them too, dont forget.
Just like our dead elders, they are only truly dead, when we stop remembering them.

You guys hear they're getting back together?

NOT A RUMOR/JOKE

Pink Floyd is getting back together to play in London at Live 8, which I assume will be similar to the 1980's Live Aid Concerts. Damn British, I wish they were coming to play in the U.S.

Geldoff said they are only playing for 15 minutes, 4-5 songs. They are going to be the 2nd last band to play

But most Floyd songs are 15 minutes each.
