The Global Marijuana March on Saturday, May 1st is being organized out of the Cannabis Culture Magazine & Pot-Tv.net studios. Co-ordinator is Christina Racki. Her email is march@cannabisculture.com.

For Lethbridge, determine if a rally there would be suitable, or whether a car pool should be organized to get people to the Calgary rally.

Is there a march in Victoria? Or are islanders flocking to the mainland?

Hey, id love to organize one in calgary. i live in okotoks (south of calgary)(short drive)
im thinkin it would be smart to purchase old school busses (they are pretty cheap i hear) and turn them into activist-mobiles.

but back to the march. i am more than willing, just need some direction

I'm not sure if I could do ALL the organizing, but I'd like to help out anyway I can for Sudbury, ON. Where do I start?? What do you want me to do??

OK, Dan, Christina will be in touch with you pm. we need a Calgary march.

Hey Sudbury. Determine your march route. I would assemble at the Park, and march on to the federal MP's office in town, who is the federal MP? Where is the MP's office in Sudbury? The march should be under 10 blocks long. Speeches should be given in front of the MP's office denouncing the drug war.

Organizing the march, get posters up for a month earlier, all over town. Start the march at 2.00 p.m., get your crowd, and at 2.20 you march on to your final point for speeches and exhortations.

Smoke many joints, bring bongs, posters, banners , flags (I know there are many in Sudbury!) and have a good organized time. Think up chants. We will have many of those kind of details on here over the next weeks.
