IMO Harley feels like he betrayed someone's trust.
Trust and honor, much different than getting your little ' feelers' hurt.

ok, then I feel he should bring it out so we can help guide him and "the mystery person" as a 3rd party group to bring a positive solution to what the matter is and bring closure to the situation, and everybody will live happily ever after. The End

And despite your best intentions, sometimes, things cannot work out and its best to leave it as such.
Let's just wish Harley the best and be thankful that we have had the opportunity to know him a bit, learn from him, and even laugh (or cry) at some of his antics...
