Is Marc Emery comming to the Toronto one? I heard the Vancouver one had had Dana Larsen and David Malmo Levine so Marc was attending the Toronto march.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I read that Marc Emery will not be attending the Toronto MMM as planned, due to the time and expenses required to deal with the fire damage to the BCMP HQ.

In answer to the previous question, the Toronto MMM is rain or shine.

Ahh! Looks like ------Calgary------- is yet again a no-go this year.
This city is the most in need of a march, its pretty easy to do it in say Vancouver where the cops look the other way when it comes to cannabis as it is-hmm does that have anything to do with the fact that people there actually get off their asses a protest? Why not fight the war where it stings the most? Believe it or not people DO smoke marijuana in Calgary. Im willing to help out people that have the slightest idea of what to do to get this thing going if its not too late. Are you guys afraid of being locked up or whats the problem? It seems ever other city is doing it.
Maybe Marc Emery can answer this as it seems he also avoids Calgary.

Is anybody putting anything together for Halifax? (the contact info from the MMM site is outdated from last year)

I haven't had the time to do anything for it, things are a little crazy at the moment.. But if someone's doing something I'll be there (if it's in Halifax that is -- I'm not going to Dartmouth tomorrow )

Dana Beal had the Halifax info in his emailed city list that I copied to the webpage city list. I guess it is outdated? I don't see Halifax in the Canada-only city list:

Last I heard, Michael Patriquin of Halifax, was in prison. As I recall, he's a medical user and has a Health Canada exemption, but prison authorities refuse to allow him to medicate. I believe he suffers severe back pain. Anyone know if this is acurate? Are there any developments in his situation? I can't remember why he was locked up.

Refusing people pain medication truly sucks.
