Ann Arbor has it's annual Hash Bash on the first Saturday of April.. that is a long time event in this area, and with some canvassing at that event, i may be able to do some decent flyering and rallying...i'll e-mail the above addy tonight Marc...-ICS

If you are serious about getting a rally happening out there in Calgary, you should find a copy of CC#46 -dec/jan.2004
Read the article "How to put on a pot rally" by David M. It will be posted online soon.

Basically, you should start networking,talk to people who are interested in helping, Do you know people that live in Calgary? (It's probably a good idea to have a home base somewhere over there.) Get names and phone #s.
Call the local hemp stores,etc. they may want to be involved or know of people who have been active before and can help.

-Buying buses sounds a bit pricey. Wouldn't it be cheaper to carpool?

We will be printing up and shipping posters for all the rallies,
there will be room on them for you to fill in the details about your local location and times.
You should be prepared to start handing out flyers and postering by the 1st of April.

So, just so that im not comfused (its to early and i havent smoked yet or drank coffee) you guys print the flyers or i do? either way, clagary is gunna see A LOT of publicity i can garuntee u that much.

Ive got lots of support from friends now, and i am confident Calgary will be a huge participant in the global rally!

....and then I guess we'll re-send them out to whoever needs em. If you get in touch with the "cures not wars" folks they'll probably send you out a whack of posters, too.

I will definatly organize a March for Hamilton Ontario, Or if Toronto is better, I can organize some sort of Bus or Carpool there. The Smoke Out Tour in Hamilton had a great turn out with limited advertising.
