bought some bird seeds yesterday to make a substrate for shrooms and tadaaa, found 445 cannabis seeds in 1 kg bag. Information label on the package confirmed - cannabis seeds. and it was produced in Neatherlands (Holland ).
i am going to grow few plants out of it anyway BUT i just wanted to ask if anyone has information how big chance i have to get some smokable buds out of them ??

Now I'm sure that label listing contents said 446 cannabizzzz seeds per bag! Better re-count those puppies

Sounds like hemp seed to me but ya never know... and as a bonus, if it's not smokeable you can always save the fibre and make rope to tie up your AAA-Stock plants!

a friend of mine used to raise pigeons (yuck) and said the feed he bought had weed seeds in it.
i know nonviable seeds are legal in the U.S. i doubt they will germ but give them a try. prolly bunk hemp if they do germ. i would think a few seconds of irradiation could render them dead but i don't know what they do, if anything, to them before packaging.

as i sayed, they are from Holland, so maby they are not sterilized. but i will try to fit 2 plants into my grow room, i want to see to be sure

I think it's worth trying. Don't just try two, though, put 50, or so, in the paper towel, see what happens.

i can germinate 50, heh, i could germinate all the 445 (jeeeeeaaah i really conted em ) but i don't have room in my growspace. i will plant them outdoors in spring though.

I had a friend that was in this same senerio and when he grew it, it ended up being Hemp.
