I'm new to hydro growing I'm gonna use drip system with rockwool. But as far as flavor I'm wondering if Organic nuts would maintain the best flavors?
One thing I have read is that you should use only water the last couple of weeks before harvest in order to get the best natural flavor.
We need to do more research on this.

Bag the idea of organic nutes. It's beat.
Let go of the organic thing. Move on.

Obviously, I would advise using Dyna Grow.

Flushing for two weeks is no lie.

Good luck

I am just getting ready to switch from soil to hydro( ebb and flow 4ft x 6ft table) Ihave done a lot of reading on nutes and organic in hydro is hard, ph drift with E.J. is a pain. now i have read that GH nutes are good and that in flowering you can add some organic teas to help with the taste. peace mota20 also organics can clog up your drip lines.

I agree on the dynagrow as the nute though I have been reading up on organics. I might try that route sometime but not having to screw with the solution to much is to me a real advantage with dynagrow, works from clones on up. Anyone use Protek?

I stand behind the Fox Farm and Maxicrop line for hydro-organo. What you might do is try a 1/2 and 1/2, which I ve meant to do several times but end up doing ALL organo and it is hard to maintain, so grow with chemical and bud the first 4 weeks with chemical then switch to a light organo tea and flush. I agree on FLUSHING for the best taste possible with ALL types of pot grown in all methods. They proably all taste the same since they weren't flushed enough. Always use the fans as an indicator and when they are all yellowed you will know you flushed enough out. Hope this helps. DM

I've got a little of both soil and hydro. There is a differnce in taste, soil taste better, i think because of the minerals in soil.Make sure you add minerals to hydro. The tch levels are just as good in both, but the taste is deffinaley different.

Hasany one used a little worm castings with hyrdo clay in a hydro grow. would worm castings contaminate the system and would the castings provide benificial bacteria.
