I love when people use small bulbs.. for some reason its the fact that its only a 250.. which makes it awesome..

as for your 20-26 in ... whoa.. kinda far bro...
you can take a 1k down to 18in.. and I have still brought it even closer than that with cool tubes....

250 you can bring that fucker down to bout 10 in.. or closer..
I grew 2 lbs usin 2 x250 watt hps.. vertically in cool tubes and I got buds as big as any 1k show and some were damn near layin on the cool tube.. with only slight burn....

I think if you got a cheap cool tube and made your screen a lil more U shaped and dropped your light so your plant distance is 10" all the way around the tube. you can be pullin some INSANE numbers...
or maybe try a vertical idea with the same concept..

wow great information indeed. I am looking into the 250 hps scrog myself. Doing some romulan as well as a ducksfoot x white rhino.

I am excited for the romulan myself and hope it yields well in scrog.

get a 250 and then surround the grow with 2' T-5's where it is totally emcompassed with low heat light. \\works great.
