The Prince of Pot , Marc Emery Arrives and Puffs Down the Toronto Police Department


It was an exciting day for the ontario people today june 19th 2003.
Jungle George and Johnnywest and Keff and Leeann from pot-tv chat drove down to toronto to day to join Marc Emery and to film this vital moment in legalizing marajuana in all of canada. Marc Emery on the front steps of the Toronto Police Department at 4:20 along with a crowd of an estimate of 200 people lite up their pipes and joints.

When they arrived there were people already smoking joints and pipes you could smell the sweet arroma of the great green plant everywhere. People where dressed in weed, some were carrying marajuana flags.

Before marc came,Alison Mryden ,who is an activist for medical marajana , did some speaking and mentioned the hemp fest in Sault Ste Marie. Alison has MS and is very active with marc and his movement for legalizing marajuana.

It's 4:20 the moment everyone has been waiting for.Marc comes to the front steps at the police station and lights his joint and proceeds to pass out joints the the crowd. everyone lit up with Marc it was an awsome moment , not knowing what was going to happen next.
Looking around you could see there was undercover cops standing around. They were not doing nothing, just watching. Marc started with saying "we must assert our lawful right to posses marijuana!! under the current law they have no authority to take our pot." Marc is an excellent speaker. Marc was talking and a spokesman for the police office was next to him asking him questions and then reporters s were talking to him.Dystonic Guitarist who was also from Pot-tv chat was interviewed by cbc newsworld and Marc appeared on global news
Marc gave Leanns husband Jeff a Blueberry joint which they smoked right in front of the Chief of Police .Marc thanked them all for coming and being there to stand up for Leglisation and freedom of marajuana.

Marc did not start speaking at 4.20, he had been speaking and smoking to the media for at least ten minutes. There was also a countdown from Ten and everyone sparked then, Marc sporting a trendy glass pipe.

He spoke and spoke and spoke and finally all of the media were tired of hearing the same solid arguments repeatedly.

Then he graciously spent at least an hour and a half with Fans signing everything to papers to CC Mags.

His girlfriend was there, and is REALLY cool.

While at the rally some guy came up to me and asked if I knew where he could buy some pot. I told him I didn't then asked "is this the first place you come to buy pot... in front of police headquarters?"
He turned out to be some guy from Holland that happened to be waling by. he said it felt like home in Toronto today.
