is defacing a flag the same as burning a flag? i saw an american flag overlaid with a nazi flag...a us flag with blood dripping from it...and the most offensive one was the american flag made cut in the shape of mickey mouse's head and ears (to indoctrinate the kids)

My stance on the flag may be unpopular. But I really think you people are so deluded in your hatred of America that you all have lost sight of the fact that even though we are opressed, we are still very patriotic. To me the flag is a symbol of freedom, and sacrifice. It reminds me that our forefathers fought and died for this country, and that there once was a dream, and that dream was freedom. One day we will win and end the widespread corruption in the government. I know that our forefathers would be ashamed of the way the government is now. Hate is a strong word. It is thrown around freely on these forums. It's funny, because the same supposed politically correct people who think hating races,religions and creeds is wrong, can hate nationalities without blinking an eye. And nevermind that it offends Americans, (real Americans) when the flag is desecrated or when other such acts are performed. Because, as we all well know, Americans and their feelings don't matter. At least we don't matter to the far superior, holier than thou, pretentious, condescending, blah... blah.. blah... I do have an opinion and I won't apologize for it.
