I can only imagine the headaches. lol, lottsa rewards too! Damn, I love Sativas! I wish everyone could have one or two legally growing in their backyard (if their seasons would allow it).

I'm ready to book on Dalat Airways for a 'Plantation' vacation in the highlands. I still remember catching a lovely lass in a half acre weed patch in Taiwan.

She showed me a whole new world. Heh heh Two years later I had to leave the Island, but a part of me is still there. ...Peace Bro...

DiWi, I think if you spend a few days checking out each weeks harvest, that by the time you get back to week 12 again it will be significantly better then before...
You are going to be pleasantly surprised at how the cured herb changes and smoothes out as it matures.

So....Are there many times where you think about whats up and just go.

Just in case there's anyone still following the DALAT adventures, I figured I would post a 'Smoke Test Update'. Sooo...here it is:

As you know I harvested my last grow over a 9 week period beginning with week 12 of flowering, going out to 20 weeks. I harvested several plants each week to try to make a determination of which weekly harvest produced the best and most potent smoke.

Although each week was 'great', the consensus amongst the veteran smokers that I had test this strain was that week 15 was the 'Bomb'. Although we haven't tried week 20 yet... I made all of week 20 into 'Thai Sticks'(see attachment)and they take a lot longer to cure because of being
compressed .... everyone agrees that it seemed to peak at week 15. Weeks 12, 13 and 14 got progressively better, and there was no discernible difference between week 15 and week 16.

The 'high' is very up with a nice body undertone. Take 2-3 good solid hits off a joint (haven't bong tested yet!)and get ready to 'trip' for about an hour. Very visual, and can be a little 'paranoia inducing'. After about an hour you settle into a very stony, 'laugh your ass off and party'frame of mind that lasts about 2 hours or so, and then it settles in for a horrendous case of the munchies! By the time 4 hours goes by you hit a very soft landing where you feel like you never even got stoned. Very nice comedown..no after effects whatsoever, no tiredness, no narcotic effect, no 'hangover'...your just back to normal!

I personaly like the easy landing aspect. If you've got things to do you can get 'em done just as if you never got high at all! Take 2-3 more hits and your right back up there! If you smoke a whole spliff by yourself...get ready to fly! It doesn't seem to have any ceiling...you just get 'higher'.

Based on the observations of my 'smoke panel' I've concluded that grown indoors under at least 80+ watts p.s.f.this strain will finish nicely around 100+ days. I believe that my next 'grow for smoke', which will be done completely from clones of the revegged 'Mums', will not only finish faster ( I'm projecting 90+ days )but be even more potent!

I am very anxious to hear the reports from those of you that are starting your own Dalat grows. It should be interesting...

Well, it's been a couple of months since my last post, and I figured it was time for a DALAT Update. My current garden has quite a few different strains going right now, and of course I'm doing a Dalat FS-1 seed grow as well as a Dalat clone grow. Busy, busy! But of course I am enjoying smoking all the DALAT bud from the last grow. Yum!
