Since a lot of questions have come up regarding people's desire to "strip" single traits to recombine with an ol' favorite (truebreeding) strain...I have included this (in PDF format) diagram as an example of the easiest way I know of to accomplish such things....

The possibilities beyond what is illistrated here are vast, with this backcrossing x checking homo-breeding status with the backcrosses x combinations of inbreeding at various stages along the way!

Peace ];-)>

Thanks for taking the time to put all of this together. I have been studying tomato production using some of these techniques, this helps to simplify some questions I had. I definitely will be using your info. for both of my crops. Thanks again, enjoyed reading it.

Thanks alot for posting that rolan! Many people (including myself) are gonna put this to great use. Think of all the strains you'll have had a hand in creating. Thanx again, peace....Dc

Thank you all....It brings a smile to my face, much like in my Avatar on the left.....When I think that many breeders are emerging!

Now for something truly entertaining, wanna see a big fight coming? LoL...Look Here! A little town you may have spent the "coldest Winter" in during the Summer....

Edited In : I realized something about my last attachment regarding the recurrent backcrossing tecnique.....The example shown, getting the Thai-high w/ Oasis everything else wouldn't truly work with "just" recurrent backcrossing. Since type of high is what I call a semi-dominant trait IMO, and expresses it'self in a blended effect in any cross. This becomes an elaborate mission, to say the least! LoL, however, with any truely dominant/recessive trait, or even many co-dependant traits, this example works very well. Sorry about that one, I was pretty baked, heh heh.

You need "acrobatreader" a free program for viewing files in windows.
