I don't know if there is a God as far as how the Bible tells it but I don't buy into the big bang theory and I think that Darwin was an idiot! Thats just my opinion though....What about you?

Peace Love and Ganja!

Hi AM!

Well as far as I can see, no god. I'm a big banger, evolutionist, atheist. My basic views are here.

Later,

Dash

Do I believe in God? Which one?

No, I don't exist.

C'mon, man. Everything exists. To put it another way: Nothing can not exist.

The problem with the god question comes about in trying to THINK about it. Logic certainly has valid uses, but it does not tolerate paradox. The logical principle of negation is a philosophical paradox, as illustrated above. It limits the scope of the application of logic to more...mundane matters.

Think about it. ; )

When there are solar flares on the sun we see in our telescopes there are the identical flares on living organisms being photographed by Kirilian Photography here on earth. What is so awe inspiring is that the effect of the flaring on the sun is noticed in the telescope some 9 minutes after it is observed in the photo's of living things on earth. The light from the sun's flaring take some 9 odd minutes to travel 93 million miles.

It happened at the same time!!!

" I am I you are you and we are one together, This is the best scientific proof of everything in energy and matter being one body all at once no disconnnection at all no matter what end of the the infinity of existance you are in there is no time in that state as it is eternal and an instant constant connection

This is also what I have always concieved God to be!

i agree somewhat to palacegaurd/ its logically flawed. in order to concieve something, it has to have a history of creation. if you think about a joint, you can think about the rolling process, and even the growing stages that it has gone through. God, in essence, exists without creation, but is the soul maker of things(to some). but logically, God has to be created in order to exist right? but then again, it can be said that God created the logical processes that we follow, therefore he is above logic. which, in essence, does not make sense because he would exist in a void of non-sense. which is creepy, ideological, and would even go as far as to mean logically the God does not exist within logical realms/ which, again, is creepy because that would mean that God exists in the minds of irrational people only, and not in the universe. my brain hurts.

Exactly! Bush is a believer. He supports war and killing. The Taliban believe in Ala. They like killing too.

I don't believe in any Gods, and I don't see the point to war and killing, or the 'my religion is better than ur religion' bullshit.

I think you've identified the true origin of "god", LeafDog, and that is the thinker's hurting head. And how do you stop that pain? By jumping to a conclusion and thereby putting an end to the thinking, the pondering of the nature of reality. One of the most difficult things for people to do is to consider all sides of an issue WITHOUT jumping to a final conclusion--after all, that seems to be the purpose of thinking about it to begin with. But as soon as you jump to your conclusion, you have created, within yourself, BIAS, or prejudice. It is supremely difficult, if not impossible, to erase that bias. Like the saying, "You get only one chance to make a first impression", once the bias has set in, further balanced consideration of the issue is virtually impossible. The desire to ANSWER the question, "Does god exist?", is valuable, as it drives the consideration process; but the NEED to formulate that answer indicates that the consideration process has become to painful to bear. The global result of shrinking from this pain is the formulation of religions. And it is clearer these days than, perhaps, ever before that religion lies at the heart of this planet's troubles.
