i am planting 4 strains in the swamps this yr..i have always grown a purple of some sort for the last 15 yrs but this yr i have a verity of flavors..i have a islandmadness ,orange sunshine and juan valdez ,early wonder skunk..2 are auto flowers ..i have never grown any before so it wll be intresting to see what i get..i dropped my beans in water yesterday and by 11 pm some had tails already.. those are the auto's..anyways i have grown in the swamps forever.

i have very little trouble with mold or rootrot..i have pulled plants that had taproots a good foot and a half in the real wet areas..

i build little islands in the swamp out of wood chips and make a hole in the top and fill with my own soil mix..never had to carry water to any of my grows threw the yrs..

more trouble with slugs and bugs then anything..but never the lack of water..and swamps are full of good nutes to..the plants really grow great out there...

weedmen you mentioned in your other post knee deep water around your chip islands. what did you use to hold the island together on the outside some kind of wire fencing? I'm just curious as all i used was buckets but if theres some serious downsides to these i would like to know so i can adjust my site before my plants really root in. You can see a couple pictures i posted kinda gives you an idea of what my setup is like. Anyone else used a bucket system and has pictures of them?

howdy all i grow in swamps we take 22 gal. trash barrells cut the bottoms out fill with pro mix #2 ,your lady and feed only what it needs when it needs it . great results every time can get huge. we use only root roides, root defender, earth juice grow ,earth juice bloom period nothing else get all nutes. from allternative gardens supply get good results i know alot of growers that just keep adding new stuff all the time to the mix they already have going they get fucked every time due to not being able to take it back out of their mix when they overload the ladies. just my way ism.

I tried a few of these this year, no luck at all but I have better hopes for next year!

Friends of mine growing in the bogs said they just dig a hole, pile the dirt they dug up, and plant the clones in the pile. No need to water. They do what I've done and bury fish there the year before and the dirt has its nutes. Anyone tried that?

just wondering, so if i just pile the dirt up and use chips, kinda making an island out of it, would the rain wash it all back down. cause some ppl say they use a container others say you dont need any.....
