Haven't seen How High yet. I heard it was pretty funny. Though I think it's a movie I would have to see stoned in order to think so. Otherwise I'd probably shut the VCR off half way through it. Friday is hilarious. You know it's a good movie if even your ultra-christian in-laws like it. My father in-law likes it because John Witherspoon is in it. I think Next Friday would've been alot better if Chris Tucker was in it. It was still a good movie though.

Yeh, I've seen the matrix high, it was great. Fast and the Furious was an awful movie, but it had some sweet parts in it for someone who was really stoned while watching it. The plotline was awful, but the car racing scenes were irresponsibly sensational, i think i was yelling and waving my fists in the theater.

Saw the 'Mothman Prophecies' last night. Talk about your strange movies. It seemed to be very David Lynch inspired, kind of like Lost Highway and Twin Peaks. I didn't really get alot of it but the way it ended was pretty cool. Movies don't usually do the book justice. I would like to read the book.

I read "The Mothman Prophecies" a few weeks ago, long before I saw the movie. Brace yourself... there is zero resembleance between the two. The "events' happened in the 60's, Keel's wife wasn't even in it, and the book isn't much more than a hard to read relating of disjointed observations. Both were disappointing, considering the hype.... what little is known of "Mothman" can be better read up on at: www.theshadowlands.net not much there, but at least its what the whole mess is really based on.
Sometimes advertising just pisses me off.....

Thanks for the link Ruckus! I have been duped into seeing many a movie based on the trailor that comes on tv. I thought this movie was going to be a susepense filled thriller. Instead it was a confusing blur, very strange and it left me feeling quite stupid actually. That feeling was because at the end of the movie I sat dumbfounded thinking "What!?". I was trying to piece things together that just didn't seem to fit. I don't know if this movie would have been any better had I been high at the time I watched it. Probably not.

Cash Crop, aka Harvest, is playing on ShowTime (yep, grey-market satellite). It seems to be a more realistic look at the subject.
