my count is actually 30....... 15 x 2. got a dimmable MH for my veg room. i'll turn it down to 600W maybe. i was away this summer so i ended up vegging the mothers for 4 months. they've been flowering for 4 weeks now under 1 x 1000 and these animals are 6 feet tall!!!flowers already like rolls of loonies. are 1.5 gal pots too small for an eight week veg??

Do you guys actually get decent bud on most of the plant at 6 feet tall? My experiences is that anything below 18-24 inches from 1000 is diminished quality. This is especially true of really bushy plants. I'd love to see some pics, tho.

Although I don't use HPS, I do ok in terms of decent buds below the 2foot level, but then I use a lot of positioned lighting.

I dont think he kidding. I know of others who use strictly metal halide for flowering also.

yup, 1k per plant here. 24 plants 24 1k hps, 400sqft, all over 6ft. hydro. From my experience MH grows the best quality meds, HPS will grow a larger yield. And yes I prune heavily, and remove fan leaves.

what are ideal day and night temps?? i am currently running at 28c during day and about 19c at night. is this too far of a varience??

Having such a huge difference in day and night temps will cause longer internode lengths, try and get your temps around between 20-25.

the rule of thumb is to not have a temperature differential of more than 10 degrees(in Fahrenheit)
