When I have a cough or cold, what should I use in my vaporizer? Is it different herbs for cough and cold, or the same for both. I would really appreciate some suggestions. My cousin gifted me a vaporizer on my birthday to quit smoking, so I want to know what herbs are right when I have a cold.

There is no cure (yet) for a cold, although specific herbs may reduce some of the symptoms. Your best bet is the old standard: rest, drink plenty of fluids, blah blah blah.

Yea the aromed is great for that. I would recommend Chamomile!

Good question and there definitely is something to get rid of colds and coughs..you can use eucalyptus essential oil in the vaporizer which is a highly anti-microbial agent.

This may of course be too much for you so you can take a pale with hot water and drop in a few drops of the essential oil...next take a sheet or towel and cover your head and the bowl of hot water while you inhale the steam...be careful not to burn your self!
