The "scientific community" is one of the most scrutiny-exempt industries in the world. And make no mistake---it is an industry.

University, as my signature indicates, is a Latine word for Corporation. Scientists tend to get away with highway robbery, in that they don't need to acknowledge that they're the equivalent of a state-run WalMart employee, where the product is "knowledge", not toilet paper.

And we wouldn't tolerate state-run grocery stores in 2012, so why do we tolerate state-run universities? A scientist is like a drug pusher---he's pushing "knowledge." But you must know your source! Do you trust the scientist? Would you buy drugs from someone just because he had a slick ad campaign? We call those people "drug detailers." So scientists, they're "drug detailers" whose drug is "science." They use millions of dollars of stolen (tax) money to do this.

Einstein didn't believe in a personal god, he is so often quoted by Christians using the word God to prove some point, he only used the word because a century ago no one would have understood what he really believed. Go read a few biographies of his before quoting him.

this is not true. The evidence of Christianity is the historical fact of the resurrection. And then it is confirmed by the history of the jewish people. We use anthropology, archaeology, mathematics, geography, all kinds of sciences in the study of the Scriptures. In fact, we've got our own "science" named for our studies, it's called "theology".

And I would also point out that "big bang" and "evolution" are nothing more than theories of the imagination, and are as equally provable as my clim that we are here because of a creator God. In fact, I would argue that the cosmoloogical argument shows that a creator God is more logical than a "big bang"

I think there's a thing called "science so falsely called", and a number of theories presented by the so called scientific community are just that, claiming to be science when it is nothing more than the thoughts of the imagination.

Lol denying evolution is like denying the holocaust. While the big bang theory is just a theory as of yet you cant really deny evolution exists. You could argue we may have been created by god but evolution most definitely played a role as well. The bible was written over a period of 1600 years by multiple authors who didnt know any of the people they were writing about by the way. Many of the stories from it are also direct rip offs of various other older religions as well like the Pagans, there are many writings to suggest the story of Jesus comes originally from a Pagan story as well . The story of Noahs Ark for example is a blatant copy of the ancient Sumerian flood myth which is written on stone tablets and dates back to around 5000 BC.

You must have read a bunch of biographies to come up with such an in-depth enlightened view of Einstein's god.

Perhaps the Christian's should stick to quoting the Bible. Nobody ever complains about that blah

But for those that are interested ... Religious views of Albert Einstein

Einstein was a Hindu, just like his protege- Oppenheimer. Over years they became Hindus. In fact all of physical science has transited towards hinduism, which really makes them pagans, after all.

I don't think that Einstein or Oppenheimer would have considered themselves to be Hindu. If they were Hindu ... it doesn't seem like they were all that good at it. However, it does seem that they had similar beliefs to some of Hindu's philosophies.

Actually all physicists are Hindus. For their next act, they will uncover Shiva in the hidden dimensions...

The God of the heart is the true God.

Religions are not really as mutually exclusive as atheists like to stereotype as being.

Quote:
The Ancient One - by Bearwalker

Ancient One sat in the shade of his tree in front of his cave. Red People came to him and he said to Red People, "Tell me your vision."

And Red People answered, "The elders have told us to pray in this manner, and that manner, and it is important that only we pray as we have been taught for this has been handed down to us by the elders."

"Hmmmm," said the Ancient One.

Then Black People came to him and he said to Black People, "Tell me your vision."

And Black People answered, "Our mothers have said to go to this building and that building and pray in this manner and that manner. And our fathers have said to bow in this manner and that manner when we pray. And it is important that we do only this when we pray."

"Hmmmm," said the Ancient One.

Then Yellow People came to him and he said to Yellow People, "Tell me your vision."

And Yellow People answered, "Our teachers have told us to sit in this manner and that manner and to say this thing and that thing when we pray. And it is important that we do only this when we pray."

"Hmmmm," said the Ancient One.

Then White People came to him and he said to White People, "Tell me your vision."

And White People answered, "Our Book has told us to pray in this way and that way and to do this thing and that thing, and it is very important that we do this when we pray."

"Hmmmm," said the Ancient One.

Then Ancient One spoke to the Earth and said, "Have you given the people a vision?" And the Earth said, "Yes, a special gift for each one, but the people were so busy speaking and arguing about which way is right they could not see the gift I gave each one of them." And the Ancient One asked same question of Water and Fire and Air and got the same answer. Then Ancient One asked Animal, and Bird, and Insect, and Tree, and Flower, and Sky, and Moon, and Sun, and Stars, and all of the other Spirits and each told him the same.

Ancient One thought this was very sad. He called Red People, Black People, Yellow People, and White People to him and said to them. "The ways taught to you by your Elders, and your Mothers and Fathers, and Teachers, and Books are sacred. It is good that you respect those ways, for they are the ways of your ancestors. But the ancestors no longer walk on the Face of the Earth Mother. You have forgotten your own Vision. Your Vision is right for you but no one else. Now each of you must pray for your own Visions, and be still enough to see them, so you can follow the way of the heart. It is a hard way. It is a good way.
