Due to the extreme drought, excessive hot tempratures, and little if no cloud cover.
Look for the prices of MJ to skyrocket this harvest season.
I've seen tomato plants etc. in my garden literally die right in front of me, despite endless watering.
Excessive measures had to be taken with the cannabis. Or the above picture wouldn't exsist. And I doubt does exsist for most outdoor grows this year.

Outdoor guys are always worried, whether its too wet, too dry, too hot, year after year after year.... it's the name of the game, and the worry game that comes with it.
But, even with the extreme weather we've seen this year, I have yet to come across anyone not having normal results (albeit slightly slower).
Read your plants, give them what they're asking for.... enjoy your finish.
Results are, after all, no more than a 'gift'.

I've always thought lots of sun,and heat produces the best finished product???....last year we had almost an identical to this year, lots of sun, temps in the 30C+ range, and had one of my best crops ever,(taste, potency, and huge amounts)this year(except for a few early girls, which by the way are looking better today, buds are getting bigger) the rest are abosolutley gorgeous......should be fine, only a bit of a hassle as they need to be fed every other day, they are in big pots, dug into the ground.

The story is in all the local papers, yield is way down in the drought area on anything that grows. Plants are spontaneiously dying from heat exhaustion.
(What you do get however is over excellent quality. With less yield though.)
Take my word for it, if I didn't have a water source a 100 feet from my plants, they would be dead now...
There is going to be a weed shortage this year, there has never been a drought like this before in US history...

Did I mention the insanely high animal population from the mild winter...
I had my entire crop screwed with massively from day 1 by thirsty wild animals, like I've never seen before, to a point where I didn't think I could grow outdoors this year.
