As for loss of privacy, if you have anything to do with a bank, own a credit card, cell phone or surf the web, that ship sailed long ago. Besides, if anything can make flying safer, go for it.

Frankly I don't care who is watching me, especially when it's a case of my personal security/life. For those afraid of big brother, better not go outside, use a phone, buy a house or car, surf the web, use electricity, etc. There are far more important issues to be worked up about, then some airport security jerk getting off on pics of my junk.
