A while ago, there was a news story in Wisconsin (or somewhere up north) about four or five pot plants, each about three or four feet tall, growing in a planter box in front of a police station. Let's do this in every city.
Every drug czar, regardless of Republican or Democratic affiliation, has been steadfast against the production of Cannabis Sativa despite numerous official studies which have stated, even prior to the War on Drugs, that the prohibition laws are more detrimental to America's well-being than the use of Cannabis as a drug.
The government will not bend on this issue because many profitable industries that give massive campaign contributions to the two main political parties would not be as profitable if Cannabis were legalized again. Oil, coal, natural gas, petrochemical, timber, and pharmaceutical giants all stand to lose their monopolies on their respective industries if Cannabis hemp becomes a viable, popular alternative in the global marketplace. Large corporations pay large sums of money to our government employees to keep Cannabis out of the picture.
To combat this, we Cannabis activists should take all of our extra seeds and plant them in public places around our towns.
Plant your seeds in public, where people frequently pass by. Put the plants where they can be seen. Let's make Marijuana as common as American flags again. Let's make a dismal mockery of the prohibition laws. Let's finally overgrow the Fortune 500 companies that try to own our government.

Yeh Topcat. The gov't bitches about all the illegal pot being grown but hobbles their best way to get rid of it. Imagine how it would screw everyone up if there was fields of hemp growing all over the place. Clouds of hemp pollen drifting around pollinating all the dank bud that's just starting to flower! The only way you could grow decent pot would be to do it indoors with HEPA filters to keep that shit out. Hemp legalization is a double-edged sword.

You'd have to set up your grow room like a clean room for a bio lab. We would have to take feminized seeds another step and bio engineer some Terminator pot seeds that can't be pollinated and will grow to finish. $100/seed! What's Monsanto's # again? I got a billion dollar idea!
