My Pot Story
For the past 15 years I've been slaving away in my career and its earned me lots of fat, stress, high blood pressure, anxiety and lack of sexual desire.
The pharma folks of course offer their remedies, and I rejected those. About a year ago I began drinking wine and this did numb at least for a while, but I really don't like alcohol that much. I joked with another "drinker" about how we can only take the drugs the government allows us to take. Eventually this conversation grew and he told me about TOR site where I could get pot. Eventually I ordered some hash.
Smoking the hash produced a relaxing high that even affected my anxiety after the euphoria left. I was relaxed, calmer at work and less tense at home.
I've decided the best thing to is to grow my own. I can't see how I would find a pot dealer, I'm 50 years old, I look look like a square or worse a narc. I am scared of course, I live in a US state ran by religious maniacs, no medical pot here. I'm waiting for my seeds to arrive. Lets hope it goes smoothly.

High InternalExile and Welcome. Sounds like you got here just in time. I mean the place in your head where you see the toll that the corporate rat-race is taking on your body and your soul. Smoking pot is only one way pot can alleviate the stresses of daily life, Actually growing your own little plants into something you can smoke takes it to a whole new level. Considering your location make sure you grow very stealthily. Invest in odor control, have ordered growing supplies sent to a safe address and above all, tell no one! Lots of luck with your seeds and good growing.

I've read this board thoroughly and with respect to the primary growing element -- beans -- there appears to be only two "walk up" retail locations one in Vancouver and one in Victoria where a tourist might visit on a short trip ?
I can say the area sure looks beautiful, nice place to beat the heat for a few days.

Unless things have changed in the last two years there are a couple of other bean vendors close by the VSB on Hastings. Must be more in the GVRD somewhere.

Thanks for the comments.
About 3 weeks ago I sent $100 bill to a well known "bean" retailer in Vancouver. Not sure what happened, I guess it could still arrive. Maybe I lost my money. Not terribly upset, but would like to get my beans. I purchased the lemon/feminized beans that were on the front page as a special.
Anyway...
I've booked a 5 day vacation to Vancouver with my family. I'll get beans there and manage getting them back home.
BTW...
We'll be going to Victoria, Chinatown, Aquarium, etc... as family trips.
I'm also wanting to spend some time relaxing (hint). As soon as I get into YVR I'm dropping a letter to BC Bud or Mary Jane delivery service.
I guess I could also ask the bell hop or other staff at the hotel I'm staying at for relaxation stuff. I'm staying downtown near the Hamilton Street.
Any other tips let me know.
