Hey all I build a carbon scrubber yesterday, I just wanted your opinion on how you will think it will work. its been in there for a day or so and seem to work pretty well. any thought are greatly apprieciated.

Well the proof is in the smelling. If you can't smell anything on a calm day outside your exhaust then it's good to go.

Looks like a carbon filter to me. Lab is right though, spend sometime outside before trying to do a smell test yourself. You can get used to the odor and not notice it as much as others.

I fail to see any carbon - unless your material is partial carbon.

If not, this will be a good air filter to prevent dust/bugs/pollen etc, but it's not going to do much for smell if no carbon is actually there for the scrubbing.

yes it will work for a small grow. I have used similiar homemade ones in the past and they worked well. Now days I buy the real ones but have a larger and stinkier grow.

yes it is, its at least 1 cm thick almost had enough to go around twice, its a "honeywell" Universal Activated Carbon filter.
