BC BASED CANNABIS ACTIVIST TED SMITH IN ONTARIO TO PROMOTE NEW TEXTBOOK: Hempology 101: the History and Uses of Cannabis Sativa

On the 21st of July, Ted will be headlining at Vapor Central, Toronto’s original vapor store and lounge (located upstairs at 667 Yonge St.). Between 2 and 4:20 he will be signing books, and later at 9pm he’ll be hosting a game of Reach for the Pot, Canada’s premiere cannabis game show. This event will coincide with an opportunity to purchase Hempology 101 and have it signed personally by Ted. It is the first time Ted has done any activism outside of BC.

Ted has worked on the textbook for 17 years. Along the way he founded the Cannabis Buyers’ Club of Canada, the oldest med pot dispensary in the world and began publishing the Cannabis Digest newspaper.

Expect a light, aromatic fog to roll into Kitchener on the morning of the 24th. Having grown up in nearby Cambridge before going to Wilfrid Laurier University, Ted is really looking forward to seeing many of his family and friends in the area and sharing his new book with them, along with, of course, his game show. The book signing will be at Kitchener’s psychedelic superstore, Shakedown Street (109 King St. W.), from 12 to 2. From there, follow the sound of laughter through the fog and you’ll surely find Ted and friends playing Reach for the Pot at Kitchener’s City Hall, starting at 4:20.

And if you think London is burning on the 26th, breathe a sigh of relief - it’s just Ted having a smoke to get ready for more game show and book signing action. Being where Marc Emery started his career as Canada’s ‘Prince of Pot’, London is a community well versed in the antics of pot pundits. Ted will be at Hi-Times from noon to 2pm. This will be followed by, of course, one more installment of Reach for the Pot, in verdant Victoria Park starting at 4:20pm.

Finally, Ted will return to Toronto on the 28th to host another book signing and game show, this time at Vape on the Lake. The signing will be between 2 and 4:20, and the show starts at 9pm.

Here is the video of the excellent game of REACH FOR THE POT that we played at Vapor Central in downtown Toronto on July 21. Captains Matt Mernagh and Chris Goodwin were very entertaining and fun to play with, and the rest of the teams certainly enjoyed themselves, too.
