So the inevitable has happened .One of my five fem northern lights seeds looks to have pollen sacks .Do I continue to grow it pulling all the sacks I see or just kill it ?

Not in flower yet ,was just about to flip tomorrow to 12/12.

I think I should kill the fcker rather than take the chance of seeds but all advice is welcome .

Oh well down it comes ,better finding out now rather than at the end when its too late I suppose .

As its just one out of five I was thinking its just genetic rather than something I done to shock the plant.

You're probably right, lb, in that genetics played a huge role in this disaster. One of the 'perks' of using fem'd seeds...

ive seen someone put this spray on there plants that make the Hermaphrodite not produce seeds i think he said that it make the plant sterile but itll make the plant less potent (not sure so dont quote me). its used to get seedless graps or watermelons im sure if u look on the internet u could out more about it.

Dampothead, sure one can try and save the plant and it may even be successful. BUT WHAT IF IT IS NOT SUCCESSFUL? then you have polinated an entire grow and will have seedy less potent smoke. Why? To prove a point? ok, have at it. But my $$$ goes on the guy the kills that fucker and grows some dank sensimilla.

I have another hermi I noticed whilst watering today .Its only one sack at the bottom of the plant ,all the rest is good but I am thinking this has to go also

The plant count is dropping from 8 to 4 or 3 depending .Both free reg seeds where male so chopped and my fem cotton candy looks male also ! not a happy bunny

One more time. Fem seeds are best outdoors. Indoor, use cuttings, or take the time to find your own mothers. Not saying there aren't good breeders out there, but with ZERO market research actually being done on breeders, and seeds, its a total crapshoot.


Breeding is the biggest thing impacted by prohibition in regards to fly by night, pollen chuckers taking over the industry in the last decade.
