As far as I know, cannabinoids are only soluble in non-polar solvents. Water is an example of a polar solvent, so wouldn't work. Every non-polar solvent I can think of that you might be able to get somewhere is either flammable, or poisonous, or both.
If you do the job outside in the fresh air without any source of high heat / flame / sparks (eg: electric motors, switches, etc) anywhere nearby, the chances of blowing up are pretty remote because fumes can't build up. You could though somehow still start a fire if very unlucky (say a static electricity spark jumps from you to something metallic), so keep some soaking wet blankets in a tub nearby to smother fires with, and wear eye protection.

You can make many oils you can make iso oil NO OPEN FLAME lol.. you can make my fav coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa oil the list goes on , YOu can even make oil with alcohol if you have nothing else.. But stick to the iso it's pure less water. Stick with small amounts when your making it so you can control your experiment .. headband 707
