Not sure how BIG the scene is where you're at. I have yet to become at all involved with the industry since relocating out of California.

Back in Humboldt, it would not have been a problem to trade trim for butter and/or finished edibles.

Another workable angle was exchanging labor for product. Very easy to take some sugar leaf instead of cash for gardening and/or trimming for friends, etc.

Again, not sure if that'd work up here; I suppose it all depends on who you know, and how well.

Now this was exactly the point of my thread last week, that, in the end, had me banned for "soliciting shake for edibles".

It is indeed a great idea if you are not growing your own. Ideally I would also like to have my own shake and not have to barter/exchange ect.

I think that now that I have gotten my fudge into the dispensary here, it may be a little easier to have a hook up for trim/shake. Currently I use bud and AVB at times. Other times I will add Keif (and I get that from tumbling some weed).

But it would be a lot more cost effective to use trim and bud, or just trim.

I hope you get your fudge sauce in the dispensary(s), it sounds like it is absolutely delish from the thread I was reading this afternoon. I would love to try it! If you want to sell a bottle

Ummmm, not EXACTLY what you were talking about. I'm pretty sure I discussed working with FRIENDS (i.e. people you know IRL), not asking total strangers on the internet.

I also heard a little something about questionable (perhaps aggressive and/or rude private messages) you began sending out to folks participating in the thread in question.

I'm not privy to what was/wasn't said firsthand, but it's my belief that behavior would have gotten you banned, not the original post.

You're back pretty fast, so it must not have been such an egregious error in the grand scheme of things.

Actually, I was banned because of the "thread", and the assumption that I was some newbie looking to rip people off. Well I won't get into who I know or don't know, or how it was fixed, but it was fixed very quickly and I received apologies.

Now, to try and put this one to bed... I sent 1 email to 1 person, and I am pretty darn sure that if I was banned for disagreeing with a member in private... no matter if I was 'aggressive' or not - that would NOT justify a ban. That would be moderator abuse.

Hopefully that clears it up a bit.

So, back to RDG's thread on her fudge sauce.... how does it keep? Can you freeze it? How is it for shipping? You don't necessarily have to approach only your local dispensary's

In regards to my fudge being listed, I met with them again today and delivered their first order and they are asking for 3 other flavors.... which is great!

Well, for the record, I would HOPE aggressive messages, whether public or private WOULD warrant a ban, should those messages constitute harassment, regardless of who knows who.

Please note, I am NOT saying what you did (in the thread, in email, or otherwise) was indeed harassment... like I said, I'm not privy to those details.

What I am saying is banning to stop bonafide harassment (which aggressive messages COULD be considered depending on context, etc.) is part of a Mod's job - not an abuse of power, IMHO.

And on topic of shipping medibles, the US is way different than Canada in terms of MMJ laws. In order to stay legal, patients cannot just be shipping internationally or out of state. Depending on the state and their laws, shipping at all puts one in jeopardy.

Keeping it local is one way to play it safe down here.

Congrats on your fudge flavors. You should have no issues finding the herbal ingredients you need from the dispensary you are working with, since they are enamored with your product at this point.
