I admit it, I am impatient and cheap.

Here's the thing: the cost of CBD heavy strains is on the high side (no pun intended). It would take quite some time and money to grow and try the various CBD flavoured cannabis strains out there. What if a few of us were to pool our resources and purchase a strain or two each, grow them, produce seed, then pass the beans to each other ? This is one way to have access to the latest med strains without taking out a second mortgage, not to mention having to work and wait for many months, even years.

I agree that the prices are quite high and from what I've read on a few sites, a small chance of a high cbd plant. Cannatonic comes to mind at 1 in 4 or something like that. Are there any strains stabilized yet to produce high CBD? If not, then you have the added issue of testing both parents before breeding and further testing future generations as you back-cross.

CBD-Crew has started producing seeds that they guarantee 100% are CBD rich (which by definition should be 4% or higher).

But yeah, overall it's pricey to get CBD beans.

Whether the odds are 1 in 4 or worse, speaking only for myself now, it is well worth the effort. To find relief outside of a pharma bottle would be beyond wonderful.
