Spider mite killer for last week?

My husband has been racking his brain trying to come up with a way to kill mites for the last week of flowering without using soap. He wants something that doesn't change the flavour so lemon juice is out. He had a recipe that used fresh chili peppers, but doesn't remember it.
Does anyone have a good recipe you wouldn't mind sharing?
